A 73-year-old Hayden man was injured in a crash on U.S. 95 south of Coeur d'Alene early Monday morning.
According to Idaho State Police, Leon G. Blood was southbound near the Mica Creek bridge at 2:08 a.m. in a white 2001 Ford Ranger when he lost control on the slick roadway.
The vehicle struck a northbound lane guard rail, causing it to roll into a ditch.
Blood, who was not wearing his seat belt, was transported to Kootenai Health. He was in critical condition on Monday afternoon.
An investigation continues.
