Vancouver,WA: Two students died iin crash that split car in half near Mountain View High School On Friday night,31st October,2014
Extra counselors will be on hand Monday at Mountain View High School after two students died in a car crash Friday night.
Police said 17-year-old William McCulloch was driving the car when it crashed into a utility pole at 136th Avenue and Fourth Street around 9:45 p.m. Officers identified the passenger as 18-year-old Shaun Hvass. They were both seniors at Mountain View.
Police said the car split in two when it hit the power pole, and both teens died at the scene.
School officials said three extra counselors would be on hand Monday to help students who are grieving.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, but investigators said extreme speed appears to be a factor in this collision.
