Perris, CA : seeks suspect in hit-and-run crash northeast of Lake Elsinore on Wednesday, 3rd February 2021

A man was being sought after a hit-and-run that left a 24-year-old Lake Elsinore motorcyclist with major injuries on Highway 74 between Lake Elsinore and Perris on Wednesday evening, the California Highway Patrol reported.

At about 6:15 p.m., the victim was traveling on a Suzuki dirt bike west on the 74 east of Hammack Avenue with no lighting equipment, the CHP said. A gray four-door 2006 Ford F-250 was heading east on the 74 when it turned north on Hammack Avenue in the path of the dirt bike and the truck’s front end collided into the bike’s right side.
