A man died Saturday afternoon in northern Harford County in a crash police said speed and alcohol were factors in.
The man’s name has not been released pending notification of family, Trooper Bates of the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack said Saturday night.
The accident happened at 4:10 p.m. The driver, in a Nissan Sentra, was heading west on Norrisville Road west of Madonna Road when he went off the right side of the road, Bates said.
When the car reentered the road, it spun around and the driver’s side hit a telephone pole, he said. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bates said speed and alcohol contributed to the crash.
