West Salem, WI : 7 teenagers involved in West Salem car crash on Thursday, 10th January 2019

Seven teenagers were in a car crash Thursday night in West Salem and at least two victims were transported to Oregon Health & Science University in Portland to treat their injuries.

Salem Police have not released details of the accident, other than to confirm that a traffic team responded to a one-car wreck on Orchard Heights Road about 10 p.m.

Lt. Treven Upkes said additional information has not been cleared by the Polk County District Attorney for release.

A West Salem High School parent, who asked not to be identified, said she was told by on-scene police that the students were driving an estimated 80 to 120 mph.
