SPOKANE COUNTY, WA : Driver under the influence causes crash that kills two teenagers on Saturday, 13th July 2024

Two people died and two others were injured in a fatal crash Saturday evening in Spokane County, three miles north of Rockford.

According to Washington State Patrol, vehicle 1 was driving northbound and vehicle 2 was driving southbound on SR-27. Vehicle 1, driven by 33-year-old Jesse Roullier, crossed into the southbound lane and hit vehicle 2 head-on.

Vehicle 2 had a driver and two passengers, all of them teenagers. The driver of that second car, 18-year-old Rogan Murrell, and a passenger, 17-year-old Jayneat Morgan, died at the scene.
