CLEVELAND, TN : Cleveland police investigating fatal crash on Thursday, 14th September 2023

The Cleveland Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened on South Ocoee Street.

Police say the accident happened on Thursday evening around 9 p.m.

Reports show that 50-year-old Anita Jellies was struck by a vehicle.

She was riding a bicycle on South Ocoee Street when that accident happened.

Jellies was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the vehicle that struck Jellies fled the scene.
