Fort Wayne, IN : Cyclist hurt in collision with FWCS bus on Sunday, 18th August 2019

A cyclist was injured this morning when his bicycle collided with a Fort Wayne Community Schools bus, city police said.

Daniel Demland, 69, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the collision at East Fourth and North Clinton streets, police said in a statement.

Police said Demland was riding north on the sidewalk at 6:22 a.m. when the bus turned left from southbound Clinton onto East Fourth and collided with him.

Both Demland and the school bus had a green light, police said.
