Oklahoma City, OK : Two killed in crash with tractor-trailer in Major County on Sunday, February 18th 2017
Two men died on a foggy Sunday morning after a tractor-trailer failed to yield and crashed into a pickup in Major County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Miguel Martinez, 29, of Ringwood, and Alejandro Flores, 29, of Enid, died at the scene of the crash, about 7 miles west of Ames.
About 8:20 a.m., Jared Blake Sisco, 32, of Muldrow, was driving a tractor-trailer east on a Major County road. The rig failed to yield at a stop sign and it struck the driver's side of a pickup heading north on State Highway 8, troopers said.
Sisco was treated and released. Two other passengers in the pickup were hurt. One of them was treated and released and the other stabilized with head and internal injuries, troopers said.
Martinez, who was driving the pickup, was wearing a seat belt, but Sisco and Flores were not, troopers said.
