Memphis, TN : A teen was injured when his car caught fire after crashing into a fire hydrant at Woodhills Drive on Thursday, September 22nd,2016

The crash happened off Woodhills Drive. The driver, Javion Eason, said his car was forced off the road by another driver.

"That's very scary," neighbor Gregory Latham said. "To know this is what people do to solve their problems with something as dangerous as a vehicle is scary."

Investigators said the driver that ran Eason off the road took off and has not been identified.

Eason is home from the hospital. His mother said he still has pain in his neck and back and he has been losing consciousness.

Still, investigators ticketed Eason. They cited him for driving without a license and for hitting a non-moving object.

Neighbors said they hope the other driver is caught soon so their quiet neighborhood can go back to normal

"The fact that the person has not been brought to justice--they are thinking they got away, but you can get by but you won't get away," Latham said.
