Cincinati, OH : Green Twp. woman killed in I-275 crash on Monday morning, February 6, 2017

A Green Township woman was found dead Monday morning at the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 275 near the Indiana border, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office reported.

Lynisha Pate, 33, was traveling south on the highway at approximately 10:30 p.m. Sunday when she lost control of her vehicle, sending it a "significant distance off the highway," investigators said.

Deputies were called to the scene early Monday after a driver reported tire tracks leaving the highway and leading to Pate's crashed vehicle.

Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

The incident remains under investigation.
