GARZA COUNTY, TX : 17-year-old Amarillo resident was killed in a crash in Garza County crash, 2 others injured on U.S. 84 on Sunday, 8th July 2018

Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety say a 17-year-old Amarillo resident was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in Garza County.

The crash happened on U.S. 84, about 17 miles east of Post, just east of Justiceburg.

Troopers say a Dodge passenger car was traveling west on US 84 approaching a curve when the vehicle traveled straight through the curve into the center median.

The vehicle traveled in the median and hit a guardrail and concrete pedestal, causing the vehicle to roll. One passenger was ejected and two other occupants were pulled from the vehicle before the vehicle caught on fire.
