Athens,AL: One person Died and three Pepole injured in two-car crash On Friday evening,31st October 2014

A two-car crash Friday evening killed one man, and send three other people to the hospital. 64 year old Ascension Mendoza of Huntsville was killed when the 1996 Nissan he was driving hit a 2008 Chrysler, driven by 63 year old Raymond Fitts. Three passengers in Mendoza's car were taken to the hospital. The crash happened around 4:00 on Friday, on Highway 72, east of Athens. Alabama State Troopers are investigating.
