Morgan County, AL : One person killed in single-vehicle crash on Talucah Road, near Draper Road on Tuesday morning, June 7, 2016

Alabama troopers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Morgan County Tuesday morning.

AL.com news partner WHNT News 19 reported that the crash occurred on Talucah Road, near Draper Road, when a vehicle struck a tree. The passenger in the car was killed.

The driver was not injured in the crash, the news station said.

Talucah Road is shut down at the site of the crash and Mt. Mariah Circle is being used as a detour in both directions. No identities had been released Tuesday morning.
