Long Lane, MO : Woman from Waynesville dies in crash in Dallas County on Thursday night, March 9, 2017
A man from St. Robert is accused of driving drunk after a deadly crash in Dallas County. He was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Thursday night after he was treated for minor injuries at the hospital in Lebanon.
Troopers say the car he was driving ran off Missouri 32 west of Long Lane about 7:30 p.m. The car hit a guardrail, fence and a tree. A passenger, Michelle Pruett, 33, died at the scene.
The driver, Gregory Muldrow, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular involuntary manslaughter, careless and imprudent driving, and driving while intoxicated or impaired. The highway patrol will turn over its report to the Dallas County prosecuting attorney but it may take weeks for charges to be filed because of how long it takes the state crime lab to complete its work.
Muldrow was charged last April with misdemeanor DWI on Jan. 8, 2016. He pleaded guilty on June 3 and received two years of probation. On Sept. 6, his probation officer reported Muldrow violated conditions of his probation. The prosecutor then asked a judge to send Muldrow to prison. A hearing on that motion was delayed because Muldrow didn't show up in court. On March 2, Muldrow was arrested and taken to court. A judge scheduled a probation violation hearing for March 28.
