St. Johnsbury , VT : Two people were killed in multi Vehicle crash three vehicle crash near the Lyndonville town line on Friday night , January 23rd 2015

Vermont state police say two men who were not wearing seat belts were the victims in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 north.

Authorities said Sunday that 29-year-old Justin Stephenson and his passenger 38-year-old Ryan Nadeau, both of Essex Junction, were killed Friday night in a three vehicle crash near the St. Johnsbury/Lyndonville town line.

They say Neal Robinson of Stoddard, New Hampshire, lost control of his car, and it ended up in the highway's passing lane where it was hit by a truck driven by Denis Belanger of Saint-Pie, Quebec. Stephenson's car then struck the truck.

State police say Stephenson and Nadeau weren't wearing seat belts at the time. Speed and road conditions are considered factors in the crash.
