MONROE, CT : Monroe crash ends with car on Monroe Turnpike at Colonial Drive on Friday, 27th March, 2020

No one was seriously injured when a vehicle crashed into the woods Friday afternoon, fire officials said.

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on Monroe Turnpike at Colonial Drive, according to fire officials. It was a one-car crash into the woods.
Firefighters had to use a chainsaw to help the wrecker free the car, which was entangled in the woods.
There were no serious injuries, officials said.
