DALLAS, TX: Arlington officer killed in I-20 crash identified as 24-year veteran on Thursday, 21st September 2023

An Arlington police officer was killed Thursday morning after a crash on Interstate 20 while he was heading into work, according to officials with the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.

Darrin McMichael, a 24-year veteran of the Arlington Police Department, was identified as the officer who died, according to Arlington police officials. McMichael’s wife, also an Arlington police officer, was headed to work behind him and reportedly witnessed the horrific crash.
