Bovill,ID : Bovill logger injured on May, Sunday 13th 2018

According to a Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office report, a Clearwater County Deputy responded to a report of a male subject that had been injured in a logging accident in the Weitas Creek drainage near Elk River. Deary Ambulance, Deary Rescue, Life Flight Helicopter and Two Bear Air Helicopter also responded to the scene.

Luke Pomme, 36 of Bovill had been struck by part of a tree during a line operation and was in a difficult location for rescue. Pomme had been treated by the logging crew before anyone else arrived. Pomme was packaged on scene and hoisted out by Two Bear Air and transferred to Life Flight for transport with unknown injuries.
