Las Vegas, NV : Man dies in ATV crash in east Las Vegas on Sunday evening, April 17, 2016

A man was killed Sunday evening after crashing an all-terrain vehicle in the east Las Vegas valley, according to Metro Police.

Officers responded about 9:15 p.m. to the area of East Van Buren, near Lamb Boulevard and Owens Avenue, police said.

A 2001 Yahama Warrior ATV was traveling east on East Van Buren when it overturned and ejected the rider, police said.

The 25-year-old rider received critical injuries and was taken to University Medical Center where he later died, police said.

This collision marks the 36th traffic related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction. It remain under investigation.
