A two-car accident on I-93 Friday afternoon left one woman dead and her husband injured.
When state police arrived at the crash site they found a blue 2010 Toyota RAV4 and a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
They determined that the Toyota was being driven by 18-year-old Brendan Olski, of Sherborn, Massachusetts, when it rear-ended the Jeep, which was being driven by 72-year-old Charles Chabot, of Manchester, New Hampshire.
The passenger in the Jeep, 66-year-old Irene Chabot, was ejected and suffered fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Charles suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and Olski did not suffer any.
Police shut down the highway for several hours to conduct a preliminary investigation.
Police do not know what caused the crash and are still investigating.
