Danby ,VT : Three Teenagers injured after their car overturned along Danby Mountain Road. on Sunday morning ,June 7th 2015

Vermont State Police said three teenagers suffered minor injuries when their car overturned on Danby Mountain Road.

Police said Elijah K. Hansen, 16, of Dorset, was driving a 2007 Honda Civic southbound at around 1:40 a.m. Sunday when he lost control, went off the east side of a road and into a ditch, where the car rolled over onto its roof.

Police said two other youths were in the car with Hansen and all suffered “minor scrapes” but did not need to be taken to the hospital. The car was described as a total loss.

Police said speed appeared to be a factor and Hansen was issued a ticket for a “junior operator’s license passenger age restriction violation.”
