ALEXANDER COUNTY, IL : Two people reported dead after crash in Alexander County on Tuesday, 30th January 2024

Authorities are investigating a crash which resulted in two dead in Alexander County on Tuesday afternoon.

Illinois State Police said it happened at 2:40 p.m. along Illinois Route 3 just north of Reiman Road. This is north of the Gale area.

Officers responded to the scene for a two-vehicle crash involving a white Lexus and a black Toyota pickup truck.

Police reported two people were dead.

The investigation is still in its infancy, ISP said.
