WICHITA, KS : 2 critically injured in crash near 13th and Tyler on Friday, 1st March 2024

Two people suffered critical injuries in a crash reported late Friday night in a neighborhood southwest of 13th and Tyler. Sedgwick County dispatch confirmed one of the two injured was in extremely critical condition at the scene in the 1100 block N. Westfield.

Both of the injured were pinned in a vehicle after the crash that was reported a little after 11 p.m. At the scene, 12 News spotted a rolled vehicle on its roof, resting in a yard, mere feet from the front of a home.

Wichita police confirmed the car hit a tree before rolling. As of early Saturday morning, it’s unclear what led up to the crash, but police did indicate speed was a factor.
