VASS, NC : 2 young daughters of Moore County pastor killed during family minivan crash on U.S. Highway 15/501 about 13 miles west of Raeford on Tuesday, 23rd July 2019

Two young girls from Vass were killed Tuesday when their family's minivan crashed and struck a concrete bridge before overturning in Moore County, authorities said Wednesday.

The State Highway Patrol confirmed to WRAL News that sisters Jenna Lynn Duckworth, 13, and Audra Duckworth, 11, were killed during the crash on U.S. Highway 15/501 about 13 miles west of Raeford.

Bobby Wayne Duckworth, his wife, Audra, and their son, Benjamin, were also inside the vehicle when it crashed, authorities said.

The three all survived the wreck and were rushed to a hospital in Scotland County for treatment, but their conditions were not immediately available.

Troopers say the family's 2004 Ford Excursion was southbound when it hit the concrete wall of the bridge that divides Hoke and Scotland counties.
