DETROIT, MI : A fatal car crash on eastbound I-96 on Wednesday, 11th October 2023

A fatal car crash on eastbound I-96 at Davidson closed part of the freeway Wednesday night.

Police said the man driving lost control on the service drive and drove through the fence down the embankment onto the freeway. A source at the scene confirmed the driver died from their injuries.

It isn't clear what caused the man to lose control, police said.
