Monroe, LA : One dead in a three vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 139 in Ouachita Parish on Sunday afternoon, September 28, 2014

Authorities are investigation a three vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 139 in Ouachita Parish that claimed the life of a Monroe man. Senior Trooper Michael Reichardt says 59-year-old Mark Dent was southbound on Highway 139 Sunday afternoon when his car struck the rear of another car that a stopped to make a left turn. After impact, Reichardt says Dent's vehicle traveled into the northbound lane into the path of a pickup. Troopers say Dent pronounced dead at the scene by Ouachita Parish Coroner's Office.
