COLLEGE PARK, MD : 27 injured after UMD-College Park bus crash on Wednesday, 4th October 2023

More than two dozen people were injured after a University of Maryland - College Park bus crashed early Wednesday morning, according to Prince George's County officials.

Authorities received a report at around 10:20 a.m. about a single-vehicle crash involving a bus that hit a light pole in the southbound lane of Baltimore Avenue near the off-ramp to University Boulevard, according to Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department and the University of Maryland Police Department (UMPD).
