Frankfort, KY: 1 sent to hospital after accident on I-64 on Thursday, July 30th 2015

Kentucky State Police says one man was taken to the hospital and is in critical but stable condition, after a wreck on I-64.Officers say the accident happened around 5:50 a.m. at the 58 mile marker on westbound I-64. Investigators say a box truck ran into the rear of a tractor trailer. The driver of the box truck was airlifted from the scene and transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.No charges are pending at this time.
