Orwell,VT : Orwell woman hurt in crash on May, Friday 4th 2018

A local woman told police she hurt her lower back during a one-vehicle crash on Friday on Route 22A.

Lucia A. Leber, 61, of Orwell, was driving a 2015 Honda CR-V north on Route 22A, around 55 mph, when the sports utility vehicle left the road off the west side and hit several small trees before coming to a stop facing north.

The crash was reported around 4:45 p.m. on Friday.

Leber, who was was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, reported minor injuries to her lower back and declined medical transport.

The Benson Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene to assist.
