Sparta, WI : One person injured after a rollover crash on I-90 in Monroe County on Sunday, January 17, 2016

One person was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a rollover crash near Sparta.

Crews were called to I-90 in Monroe County at 3:13 p.m. Sunday for a crash near mile marker 24.

Investigators believe a Jeep Cherokee traveling westbound on the interstate crossed the median. When the driver tried to move back into the correct lane, he rolled the car.

The driver was thrown from the vehicle before it came to rest in a ditch.

Authorities identified the driver as 30-year-old Brian Patrick Clark of Schofield, Wisconsin. He was sent to Gundersen Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators do not believe Clark was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
