Sandston,VI : Boy found shot following vehicle crash in Virginia on September, Tuesday 12th 2017
Authorities say they have found a boy suffering from a gunshot wound after a vehicle crash in Virginia.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports Henrico County police found the wounded child Tuesday night after receiving a report that a vehicle had struck a tree in the Sandston area. Police did not release the boy’s age.
Henrico police Capt. Linda Toney says the wound was not self-inflicted, and that someone had been driving the boy when the crash occurred.
The boy was shot in the upper body and taken to VCU Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say they are not looking for a suspect and that there will probably be charges in the near future.
