Victorville,CA : Woman killed in rollover crash on November, Thursday 30th 2017
A 23-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash Thursday night after striking a raised concrete curb at a high rate of speed and being ejected from her SUV, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Patience Marie Entler, of Ontario, was identified as the driver of a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder that overturned in a crash on Yates Road late Thursday, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Coroner’s Division officials said.
The 2001 Nissan Pathfinder was traveling on Yates Road, west of Park Road, when Entler made an “unsafe turning movement” and hit the curb on Yates’ north roadway edge, CHP said in a statement.
Officials believe alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the crash.
Entler was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car after it overturned multiple times, CHP said. She was taken to Desert Valley Medical Center where she died of her injuries.
Her passenger, a 29-year-old man from Victorville who was wearing his seatbelt, was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center after suffering minor injuries.
Anyone with information concerning the collision is encouraged to contact the CHP Victorville Area Office at 760-241-1186. Officer T. Chapman is handling all information connected to the case.
