A Marshall man suffered minor injuries after a one-vehicle accident on Thursday, March 29.

According to an online Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash occurred at 10:34 p.m., when 41-year-old Kelly R. Pratt was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 240.

Pratt swerved to miss a deer, causing his 2014 Chevrolet to travel off the left side of the roadway and strike an embankment.

The report states Pratt was wearing a seat belt, and was treated privately.
