Fairfield, CT : Two people injured after double rollover crash on the Merritt Parkway in Connecticut on Saturday, Aug 29, 2015

Officials say two people were hospitalized after a double rollover crash on the Merritt Parkway in Connecticut.

Fairfield firefighters responded to the southbound side of the highway between exits 46 and 47 at around 1:02 p.m. Saturday after reports of a crash resulting in injuries.

Assistant Fire Chief Scott Bisson says firefighters found two cars rolled over on their roofs on the road.

Bisson says two people were taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

State police are investigating the incident.
