GREENSBORO, NC : Charges pending in Greensboro head-on crash on Tuesday, 30th July 2019

Charges are pending against a 24-year-old Summerfield resident after an elderly man died Tuesday from injuries he suffered last week in a head-on crash on Drawbridge Parkway in Greensboro.
Greensboro police said the crash happened at 2:44 p.m. near Well-Spring Drive.Investigators said Charles Bogan, 81, of Virginia, was driving a blue, 2009 Ford F150 westbound on Drawbridge Parkway when he was struck by a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder.
Police said Johnathan Loflin was traveling in the eastbound lanes of Drawbridge Parkway at a high rate of speed when he went left of center and struck Bogan's pickup truck head-on.
Both Bogan and Loflin were taken to a hospital for treatment.
