Immokalee, FL : Felda man killed in car struck by a bus State Road 29 north of Immokalee on friday January 29 2016.

A Felda man was killed Saturday morning when his car was struck by a bus carrying 35 people on State Road 29 north of Immokalee, the Florida Highway Patrol reported. William Cruz Rivera, 22, was driving a Toyota Sienna southbound on S.R. 29 when he tried to avoid the bus that had crossed the highway center line. The front left of the Toyota collided with the front right of the bus. The bus, carrying Immokalee residents who ranged in age from 19 to 61, drove through a roadside ditch, collided with a barbed wire fence and metal gate and ended up a cow pasture.
