Fort Wayne, IN : Normal man killed in crash on I-55 near Lincoln on Wednesday September 14 2016

Illinois State Police said a 41-year-old Normal man was killed in a crash on Interstate 55 north of Lincoln Wednesday night.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Logan County Coroner’s Office. His identity has not been released.
State police said the driver from Normal was northbound about 11 p.m. when his vehicle got stuck in the guardrail and became disabled in the middle of the left and right lanes.
His vehicle was then struck in the rear by a northbound vehicle driven by Brandon W. Jackson, 30, from Arkansas. It was hit a second time by a vehicle driven by Jackie R. Krouse, 56, of Springfield.
It is unknown which crash led to the man's death, state police said.
Krouse was taken to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, where she was treated and released.
The man killed in the accident was not wearing a seatbelt, state police said.The crash remains under investigation.
