FRANKLIN TWP, PA : Driver, 20, flown to hospital after crashing in police chase through Carbon County on Thursday, 6th June 2024

Pennsylvania State Police say a man was seriously injured after his vehicle hit a tree following a police pursuit in Carbon County.

Troopers tried to initiate a traffic stop around 6:24 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from state police.

After activating the emergency lights and sirens, the listed vehicle failed to stop, and police began a pursuit in Franklin Township, state police said.
