OMAHA, NE : Police looking for suspect vehicle after fatal South Omaha hit-and-run on Tuesday, 1st October 2024

Omaha Police are investigating after an 89-year-old man was killed in a fatal hit-and-run Tuesday morning.

Authorities released pictures Wednesday of what they believed was the suspect vehicle. Within a few hours the pickup was located and impounded. It initially looked like a 2007 to 2012 silver Chevy Silverado 1500, Z71 crew cab.

Police were still attempting to identify the driver.
