Phoenix, AZ : Two people seriously injured in wrong-way crash Interstate 17 in Phoenix on Monday December 14 2015

A wrong-way crash early Monday seriously injured two people and forced the shutdown of part of Interstate 17 in Phoenix for several hours before the morning commute.
Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves says the crash occurred about 12:30 a.m.
He says a driver traveling the wrong direction in the interstate collided with another car in north Phoenix.
The collision left drivers of both vehicles with serious injuries, and closed northbound I-17 at Bell Road. It reopened around 5 a.m.
