Portland, OR : SUV, truck crash near Seaside kills 2 people, injures 2 others on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016

Two women were killed Saturday after a collision between an SUV and a pickup truck near Seaside, Oregon State Police say.

Anali Aguilar Goana, 21 and her passenger Marilyn Manriquez Gutierrez, 23, were in a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox that crossed the center line along U.S. 26 near milepost 14 and crashed into an oncoming 2012 GMC pickup, state police said. The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m.

The two women, both from Cornelius, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup, 63-year-old Michael J. Heuvelhorst, and his passenger 69-year-old Linda J. Heuvelhorst were taken to hospitals in the area. They are from Seaside and are expected to survive, state police said.
