Huntingburg,IN : Driver dies in Huntington County crash on November, Monday 27th 2017
A driver who disregarded a stop sign near Warren in Huntington County was hit by a semi and killed Monday afternoon, Warren police said.
The victim was identified as Hellen L. Snow, 68, of Huntington. The Huntington County Coroner ruled the cause of death as blunt force trauma.
The crash occurred about 2 p.m. when a vehicle traveling west on Indiana 3 failed to stop at the County Road 800 S intersection, according to a Warren Police Department news release. A southbound semi attempted to stop but hit the car on the passenger side.
The semi was driven by Ronald Hite of rural Huntington, who was the only occupant of the semi. He was not injured. Snow, who had no passengers and was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at scene, according to the release.
