Crawford County, PA : Motorcyclist hurt, passenger killed in Crawford County crash on Saturday, August 2, 2014

A 47-year-old Hadley woman was killed Saturday afternoon in Crawford County when a car hit the back of the motorcycle she was riding, Pennsylvania State Police said. Tracey L. Mittlestadt was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by Walter Mittlestadt, 53, also of Hadley. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on U.S. Route 322, just north of Ralston Road in South Shenango Township. Walter Mittlestadt was taken to UPMC Horizon, Greenville. No details of his injuries were available. The motorcycle was hit from behind shortly after 4 p.m. by a car driven by 23-year-old Steven Brown of Hartstown, police said.
