Memphis ,TN : Police search for driver after stolen car crashed On Saturday Morning ,May 9th 2015

Police are searching for a man who crashed a stolen car Saturday morning.

According to police, the crash happened near the intersection of National Street and Rockwood Avenue. They said the car was stolen and the driver ran from the scene.

At the scene, the car had flipped and was trapped under a utility pole.

Neighbors say they heard a transformer explode and came outside to see a man struggling to get away.

Police have not released a description of the man they're trying to find.
