Tinley Park, IL: Woman hurt in crash on I-80 near Tinley Park on Monday, July 20th 2015

A woman was pinned inside her vehicle following a crash on westbound I-80 in the southwest suburbs Monday morning.The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-80 at La Grange Road about 6 a.m., according to Illinois State Police.Police said the woman, 26 or 27, lost control of her vehicle, which then struck a semi truck. Responding crews had to cut the woman out of the vehicle before taking her to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.At the time, the woman was talking and did not appear to have suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.All westbound lanes remained closed until about 8:30 a.m., police said.
