FORD COUNTY, KS : Semi crash closes U.S. 54 in Ford county on Friday, 19th January 2024

Highway 54 is closed Friday morning as first responders are on the scene of a crash in southeast Ford county.

According to the Ford County Sheriff’s Office, two semi trucks crashed and caught fire on the highway west of Kingsdown. Deputies shared pictures on Facebook as firefighters working to extinguish the fires. Highway 54 will be closed between Kingsdown and Minneola while crews work to clear the scene.
