Bay Shore, N.Y : Motorcyclist killed in Long Island collision on Saturday, December 3, 2016

Police on Long Island say a 31-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Bay Shore.

It happened just before noon on Saturday at the intersection of Pine Acres Boulevard and Huron Drive.

Suffolk County police say Kenneth Boos, of Bay Shore was riding a Suzuki northbound when his motorcycle collided with a westbound Toyota driven by Brianna Valdes.

Police say Boos was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The 23-year-old Valdes, of Bay Shore, was not injured.

Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
