DeLand, FL : Volusia County woman accused of DUI, child neglect after crash on Thursday night, February 4, 2016

A Volusia County woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and child neglect after she crashed into a fence and light post with a child in the backseat of her car, police say.

Orange City police said Teresa Knudsen, 29, struck the fence and light post in Orange City Thursday night, but managed to keep going.

Witnesses told police Knudsen was driving recklessly along East Graves Avenue, and nearly struck a person before she was pulled over and arrested.

Officers said they found a child unbuckled in the backseat and Knudsen admitted to being drunk.
