GREENFIELD, MA : 3-car crash sends one to hospital on Tuesday, 27th March 2018

One person was taken to the hospital follow a three-car fender bender Tuesday around 4 p.m. at Silver and Federal streets.
At least two of the cars remained at the intersection about 30 minutes after the collision, as police took down statements and firefighters looked on. An ambulance could be seen leaving down Federal Street toward Baystate Franklin Medical Center.
The injured person was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, according to Greenfield Fire Lt. Kyle Phelps.
During the incident, emergency crews directed traffic around the scene but never closed the road.
